So are housing prices going to just keep going up? Like we’re gonna have a revolution if something doesn’t change lol

If history keeps on this same path, which it likely will because our system hasn’t changed, is the gap between salary and housing costs gonna continue to widen? Like it’s gonna get to overly unsustainable point, if we aren’t already their. I’m 23 years old, and are you telling me that when I’m my parents age, my kids will be saying “you got your house for so cheap compared to your salary! Our generation is screwed” in the same way we do now to your parents? I don’t think we’re gonna make it till then. By then owning a home won’t be a thing you can do till you’re 60 or something. People are going to have to stop having kids period because they can’t afford a place to live. Like I really don’t see this problem ever being fixed, we’re gonna continue to say “this sucks” until we actually have to riot cause someday it won’t just be “impossible” metaphorically to own a home… it will actually be impossible. You really believe one day housing prices and salary will be better or at least not continue to get worse? History has only shown the opposite.
