Anyone able to advise as to the mhs? I want to know what to expect.

Hi all I'm sorry to be a downer but honestly I'm looking for advice from anyone who's experienced the mental health service in ireland, I'm a 21 yo man, deeply depressed and have several other issues I'd rather not address however I can't see a way forward. I feel I need to check in to a psych ward as I've had these issues for years and have stayed fairly quiet as I am trying to not upset my family however I'm really in a bad place, my life is truly going nowhere and I fear for my future.

Anyways my main question is to anyone who's experienced psych wards or any inpatient facilities maybe to hear your experiences and to gauge what I can expect. Thank you so much for even reading this any help would be greatly appreciated.
