Sudden mixed battles match making in every match?

Trying to enjoy my usual 8.3-9.3 jets and since this the patch yesterday every single match is mixed.

Is anyone else being driven absolutely insane and not wanting to play by the constant mixed battles where all the nations are fighting themselves? I don't want to keep having to fight my own plane over and over. It's boring, and it's completely unnecessary as far as player count is concerned. It's like they flipped a switch yesterday or the day before and now it's every match. I don't know if it's another bug on the mountain of horse shit this update but my god I don't even want to play because of it.
