Gangle might abstract next
It might be complete bogus but here we go.
I was watching one of Marrisa Lenti/Vixen's streams of her reacting to Ep 4, and something stood out to me.
When Gangle says "Oh, Ragatha... I love her, but... after a while, it gets kind of hard to tell how genuine she's actually being." Vixen pauses the episode to make a comment on the reason why she won't discuss other Gangle ships.
"It's a spoiler... but- um- her and Ragatha... not great"
(for anyone wondering - the timestamp is 9:56 - https://youtu.be/BdNQ32jkk04?si=fWjEP5F4akb14Kqx)
The whole "Who will abstract next?" has been a question chewed on by several in the fandom ever since the release of Ep 5.
Many have followed the bowling ball and cake section of the Intermission sequence as a guiding principle - cake being abstraction and bowling ball... not abstraction.
Gooseworx mentioned that the next person to abstract will be someone we least expect - and.. well everyone has been yelling that Ragatha will abstract. I am sure Goose saw this rumour going around, so I am personally sure Ragatha won't abstract next.
Many have also theorized Jax to be the next to abstract. Ep 6 will, after all, most likely, be about a very ugly conflict between Ragatha and Jax - supposedly bringing up the worst out of one another.
If I recall correctly, Gooseworx was asked what the worst thing Jax has done was, her answering "You'll see with your own eyes." (not sure if this is what she said word for word)
But that somewhat contradicts itself with the bowling ball thing - and also, many people believe Jax to not abstract anytime soon due to his similarity to Ted from IHNMAIMS.
Personally? I think Jax won't be the next to abstract due to how much of a goldmine he represents as a character.
ANYWAY - MY POINT - not many people are sold on the idea that Jax will abstract. And the other theories that Kinger might abstract (or smth else happening to him) seem to be more so related to the ending of the show.
Now here's where my theory as to what the next episode will be about - and the subsequent abstraction:
What if Gangle, being the colatoral damage to the Jax and Ragatha conflict, will represent the storm Gooseworx was referring Ep 6 as?
What if, this abstraction (or, let's say, great damaging of Gangle's relationship with/view of Ragatha) was caused by Ragatha being pushed to drop her toxic positivity by Jax?
OR
What if this event will lead to a shift in perspective from Jax's point of view?
OR
both. Again, neither are saints and both are toxic to some extent. It could very plausibly be a mixture of the two that causes some real damage (or abstraction) to Gangle.
It would line up with Jax being at his worst. It would line up with it being a character we don't really have in the forefront of our mind. And, I think, it would also line up with Goose's statement that we'll get to see how the character's personalities have changed throughout the years they've been stuck in the circus.
I mean, if I were either Jax or Ragatha, and one of my conflicts led to someone abstracting - I too would ask "How did it go so wrong? We weren't always like this." (metaphorically - am sure the show will have a more clever way of portraying that feeling)
BUT THIS IS A THEORY
