I just thought that I can make some concepts for new factions. I named them Manor, Void and Spire.

None of these are fully fleshed out. They are just some concepts.

\## Manor

The idea is that Manor is a town populated by 2 species: humans and Manor Lords (which resemble fantasy vampires). The Manor Lords don't theoretically enslave humans, but practically, they do. The town lives in a symbiotic relationship - Manor Lords use the townsfolk to do their bidding and sometimes as fuel, and in return they protect the townsfolk and manage the town well.

Their dwellings produce humans like Huntsman and Priests, monsters like Giant Bats and units like Concubines and Manor Lords.

Their gimmick is that humans and monsters don't like eachother. Humans starting near monsters and vicevers have low morale and luck.

Manor Lords are also available as the tier 7 creature at the beginning of the game and are some of the strongest tier 7's in the game, but ridiculously high priced. Their upgrade requires all other dwellings, a castle, etc and reduces their price.

\## Void

The Void are a race of alien creatures summoned into the realm through 'black holes'. Their intents and purposes are unknown but they always move like they have a plan.

If there were a campaign, they would not be a playable race except when a different race conquers their town.

On the map, Void appears as a giant squid levitating over a black hole.

Their gimmick would be that their heroes spread void to other objects on the map. Their creature growth is affected by how many dwellings you spread your void to. Your heroes gain extra movement near voided objects.

Their creatures would be units like small constructs made of obsidian, Mind Flayers, and of course a giant octopus that occupies 3 spaces.

In combat, their units focus on mind control, summoning portals and even bringing reinforcements directly from a base into the battlefield.

\## Spire

Finally, Spire is a civiliazation of sentient spiders that have formed complex underground tunnels underground. Spire was almost extinct due to Dungeon invasions. Now with a new Broodmother leader inspiring the arachnids, Spire seeks to retake the underground and find themselves a new home to thrive.

Spire creatures include Worker Spiders, spiders that ride on bugs, and a tier 7 monster which is, of course, a Broodmother.

Their gimmick has to do with monster spawns. Instead of getting spawns once per week, they get spawns every day. However, these spawns are pseudorandom. One day you might get a Worker Spider, the next you might get 2 Spire Augurers and one Broodmother, etc. By the end of the week, your spawned creatures will equal what your week would have spawned anyway. You can gather an extra resource from battles called Eggs. The more eggs you have, the more units you spawn. This can get you way over the limit of what a normal faction would be able to produce.

However, there's one more gimmick: All spawned Units have, at random, one of 3 variants. Upgrading the dwelling just increases their stats. There are ways to somewhat control what variants your town produces, but this way you're forced to adapt and build your armies carefully.

That's pretty much it. Again, none of these are fleshed out or anything. Just ideas that I put into practice when I discovered what midjourney can do.

Thanks for the read!

I played around with midjourney and created 3 concepts for Heroes 3 factions.
