how to stop blood sugar levels dropping whilst sleeping?
hi! i'm newly diagnosed with diabetes ( literally only like 2 weeks ago due after it sent me to hospital ), so i am still learning the ropes of things.
i have the libre sensor thing, and what i have noticed is that during the night it would wake me up to yell about my sugars dropping below 3.9 mmol/l. it would happen once or twice and its been fairly consistent. my sugars are sort of on the lower side in general, as they tend to sort of float around the 5's and 4's, with it occasionally dipping into the 6's and 7's and sometimes 9's, but mainly staying low with it plummeting down to like 3.4 at random once or twice a day.
i do get my sugars back up to normal by myself, but i'm not entirely sure as to what is happening or why. i haven't had any meetings with the diabetic team yet, so for the time being i just wanted to ask here.
sorry if it's a bit hard to understand, i am not the best at asking about things, but any help would be great, thank you
