How long did you wait before telling people you are pregnant?

I took 3 pregnancy tests 3 weeks ago and they were all positive. I just got a blood hcg test and gestational age, Im waiting on the results. I know Im really early but I have been feeling alot of symptoms like fatigue,need to pee alot, eating more and nausea which are hard to hide. At work some of my closest coworkers noticed how Ive been feeling and got concerned. I felt so bad (because Im really close with these girls) and I ended telling them I might be but I was going to confirm. I started watching alot of early pregnancy videos and noticed alot of people dont say anything until after 12 weeks, I learned why they do this and now I wonder if I made a mistake. should I keep it a secret from my family? Should I not tell anyone else until Im past 12 weeks? What did you do?
