Like, I get it, you got a lot on your plate and you hardly get a break, but you literally can control how your works get played out.

One of my examples in Jean from Genshin. “Oh no, I have a lot of work to do. Don’t you feel bad for me player, even tho I can lightened the load in multiple ways and not unnecessarily overwork myself?”

Like, your the Acting Grandmaster. What’s stopping you from going “hey, I’ll do a certain amount for today so I don’t overwork myself.” Or “hey, I can’t do all of this myself, can you do some of it?”

And it’s not just conversant work. She’s literally killing slimes and shit as part of her work as well. Why do you still employ guards if you don’t even let them do their job as you do it for them.

Like, do you think that low of them that you’ll have regrets of letting someone else do their job, or is it just masochism from overworking yourself.

I know it seems like a Jean rant, but I seem it in a lot of shows and I don’t like it.

You’re the King/President/Leader/Grandmaster/Pope/Whatever and you can’t find ways to lighten the load. You just **have to** do this on your own or the world will kill itself? You just **have to** do other people’s work since they’re so incompetent that they’ll destroy the universe if they do it? You just **have to** avoid opening time with your friends and family because your job is **SOOO** much more important?!

Also, there’s like 3 or 4 other “overworked people in high authority” in Genshin as well, but “overworked” is literally Jeans main trait.

The second example is Naurto in the Bourto Manga.

“I love my work so much that I won’t even go to my kids birthday party. I can make hundreds of shadow clones to do my work, but I prefer it I make this as long as possible for some reason.”

My guy, go as Shikamaru (a genius) to help you lighten the load. Go make your version of congress to split the load. Why are you doing this to yourself.

The work cannot be that good that you’ll happily take it over seeing your children (who you can absolutely make it happen, don’t say you can’t) that talk like you barely leave the office.

No wonder Bourto is resentful. I mean, you brought a shadow clone to your doubter birthday party instead of… you know… **sending the clone to do your work FOR YOU**

For the rest of the people and types like that, don’t expect me to feel pity for you as you can absolutely change your circumstances, but don’t. Do you even care about others? If you cared so much, you can make an effort to visit loved one instead of burning yourself out like a masochist. I sware, there married other job sometimes.

[Hated Trope] the overworked person in high position who can change their circumstances if they wanted too, but don’t.
