how to breakthrough 7 million

I have been playing Balatro for a few months now, watched a few videos, browsed the subreddit a bit, but all of you here seem very practiced at this point and I don't understand half of what you're saying. I'm at a point where I can win a run with a variety of decks and some stakes, but no matter what, I always fail at the 11th ante, at 7 million. Can anyone offer advice as to how to breakthrough this barrier?
