Cervical mri findings. I know its ROM that dictates rating but curious what a ballpark might be. Thanks for any help you can provide.
Straightening of the cervical lordosis is present. The vertebral bodies are normal in height. The vertebrae are normal in alignment. Age-appropriate fatty marrow changes are observed. The craniocervical junction is normal. The spinal canal is developmentally normal. The spinal cord is normal in signal and morphology. Mild degenerative disc disease is noted with evidence of disc desiccation with relative preservation of disc height. Marginal and uncovertebral osteophytes are noted in the mid and lower cervical spine. Mild facet joint degeneration.
Individual levels:
C2-C3: No disc herniation, spinal canal or foraminal narrowing. C3-C4: Mild posterior disc bulge is noted without significant canal narrowing. Facet joint degeneration results in mild to moderate LEFT foraminal stenosis. No significant RIGHT foraminal stenosis. C4-C5: No significant spinal canal stenosis. There is moderate LEFT foraminal narrowing due to facet joint hypertrophy and uncovertebral osteophytes. C5-C6: Posterior disc bulge indents the ventral thecal sac without significant canal narrowing. There is severe LEFT foraminal narrowing and moderate to severe RIGHT foraminal stenosis. C6-C7: An eccentric posterior disc osteophyte complex indents the ventral thecal sac without significant canal narrowing moderate to severe bilateral foraminal narrowing is noted. C7-T1: No disc herniation, spinal canal or foraminal narrowing.
