Found these spots on my scalp--dermatitis or skin cancer???
A while ago I had some soreness and occasional brief, mild headaches in this area. Went to a doc and she said my lymph node here was reacting to spring allergies. A few weeks later, hairstylist tells me there's a buildup of yellow flakes in the area. I went to a dermatologist and got shampoo for dermatitis and it cleared up pretty quickly. Now there are these two flat, brown spots (weren't there before) and the area is still sometimes sore, but it's a very mild soreness. A few people in my family have had skin cancer, so I'd like to hear others' opinions on whether this is benign or not. I'm a young woman and usually wear hats when I'm out in the sun. I don't get a lot of moles/freckles either.
