Questions about Habitual Residence Test

Personal Independence Payment (PIP)

Hi All,

I'm applying for PIP and I need to pass the Habitual Residence Test.

I was living in a different country from 2018-2023, but I've been in the UK for over 2 years, so I meet that requirement.

They're asking me about the dates I was in the other country, whether I worked there, and whether I received benefits.

(I'm a bit confused about why they need to know this info).

I assume they're trying to figure out if I'm going to stay in the UK (I am), so is it worth providing info they haven't asked for which supports this. For example I signed up to a GP, dentist, 2 other private healthcare organisations, the fact I visited the UK in 2022 and I had weekly calls with my family whilst living in the other country.

Any insight and advice about the habitual test would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
