Honda vs Benelli (125)

So hey, I’ve been trying to decide for the past 72 hours which bike to buy, and I’m slowly going insane.

It’s a fight between a used Honda CBR125R and a brand-new Benelli BN125. The specs are similar, but I can’t decide between going for a naked bike or a sport bike. My main concern is handling and overall maneuverability. I’m a bit worried that the CBR, being a sport bike, might have more aggressive handling due to its short handlebars, which could make it harder to control compared to the Benelli with its wider bars that feel more stable.

I’ve ridden both, and they’re both great. The Benelli is bigger and heavier, but comfortable. The Honda is smaller, which I actually like since I’m 5'6". But it has short handlebars and fixed headlights (since it's a sport bike), which makes me hesitate. That said, I really prefer the way the Honda CBR looks—it just has that “wow” factor. The Benelli looks good too, but honestly, the Honda is just hotter.

The used Honda is a 2016 model with 10,000 miles on it. The current owner bought it from Germany with 5,500 miles and rode it here in the Czech Republic. He’s selling it now for $2,900.

The Benelli, on the other hand, is brand new with a price tag of $3,100 and got warranty ofc. So price isn’t really the issue.

So, I like the Honda more. It’s smaller, more compact, and honestly, way better looking. But it’s not as practical. I know that. The Benelli is the practical choice—it’s a naked bike, and I’d probably be safer on it.

But still… I don’t know. What do you guys think? I’m seriously starting to lose my mind over this.
