Move to Spain - Good option to start/live?

Hey guys! I live in Italy and was wondering to move to Spain. I’m in the middle of a career transition from civil engineering to IT and I’m felling a little stuck here in Italy because I feel that it’s harder to start an IT career here. I would like to know your opinion on this.

To give you a little background:

• I’m 32 years old;
• I’m originally from Brazil and have the Italian citizenship (Portuguese speaker);
• I speak English fluently;
• Learning Spanish;
• Married, so me and my wife are able to work;
• Civil engineer with 10 YOE as a construction manager;
• I don’t feel I can work in my profession anymore due to the fact it’s extremely stressful;
• Started studying for IT now: - Finishing a bootcamp at Tripleten in October/25; - Pretend to start at the university in Barcelona in 2026;
