I need help choosing a gpu..

I’ve been looking around now, for around 1-2 weeks for a new gpu, and I’m having zero luck, in being confident in buying one.

My current Gpu is Nvidia GeForce 4060Ti 8gb.

I want to change my gpu for future proofing, but I’ve seen so many options, I have absolutely no idea what I’m even looking for. My budget was 500, but now I’d prefer to lower it to around 300-450, maybe thats not enough to pick up a solid, & worth while gpu, but like I said, Idk what to look for.

I was close on settling for a 5070 12gb, but I’ve heard how they aren’t worth it, and other cards perform much better, either at the same price or even cheaper.

Any thoughts, recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks.
