KDP ID verification question

So I've received the request to verify my ID. Fine, but I keep reading horror stories on here about verifications failing and people losing their accounts. As I've had some issues with KDP before (wrongful termination, swiftly resolved) I'm getting panicked. I only have a driving license, no in date passport, and my license shows my name in reverse (surname, first name, middle name). So when it says the ID should exactly match my KDP legal name, should I change it round? That seems odd.

Have any of you had successful verifications? I'm sure the majority must be, but I'm stressing (and I know that's because of the stress they've put me through before).
