This wand may be limited in terms of what it can animate, but a creative mind can find many uses for it.

The inspiration foir this item was that I really wanted to make something that had the "animate objects" effect to include in an adventure I was writing, but since the characters would be level 2 for this adventure in question, the item would need to have a greatly powered-down version of the spell, which ultimately led to what we see here. Reducing the number of creatures was step one, but ultimately I decided to also put a cap on the size of object this could animate, and add the restriction that it needed to be a constructed object of some kind, which is really more of a flavor consideration, but it is technically a restriction too.

This wand featured in a Christmas-themed adventure I published back in December and which is freely available over on my Patreon. It was released in three chapters and was designed to be a fun intro adventure for new players, so things kick off at level 1, and by the end of the 3rd chapter the characters should have reached level 3 and be ready to dive into bigger and better adventures. This particular item is found in the [second chapter](https://www.patreon.com/posts/118347785), which you can find here. I'll also include links to the [first chapter](https://www.patreon.com/posts/runeworkers-1-117575069) and the [finale](https://www.patreon.com/posts/119594136) if you want to give the whole thing a go with your own players.
