Should I claim credit for PHY303K as a Engineering Major

Incoming Freshman for BME, My advisors said that they recommended claiming only credit for the lab, since UT teaches it differently and it would be better to lay a foundation taking it at UT. I got a 5 in AP Physics C, should I retake the lecture, or should i start with PHY 303L. I would be taking Tsoi for 303K
