My Situation - Need Advice

I just graduated high school and I am going to university in the fall. Would it be beneficial to go to the army reserve after my first year of college and then take a semester off. I have a ton of college credits already so I’m ahead of where I should be. I would also do the ROTC this year. Would you reccomend this route?
