Extreme heartburn after vomiting?

Hey guys, Last night was the first time I have thrown up post sleeve, had some food that really wasn’t agreeing with me. I was sleeved 6 weeks ago. The vomit was like nothing I’ve ever seen before, goopy and slimy if I had to describe it. A few hours after, I started to get heartburn like I’ve never experienced before. It kept waking me up through the night with the pain and then this morning it has continued.

I’m on PPI’s and have been since surgery but I’ve never had anything like this before.

Has anyone experienced a similar thing? What did you do? Unsure if I should reach out to my surgeon or if this is normal and I’m just freaking out 😂
