Laser or Electrolysis?

I’m looking to get hair removal on my neck. I did one electrolysis appointment so far but it’s more expensive than laser. I’m a fine candidate for either. From what I’ve researched, I thought laser wasn’t completely permanent but some people I’ve talked to recently haven’t had to shave in 10+ years after getting laser. Should I do laser instead of electrolysis? It’s less painful and less expensive. Will my hair grow back?
