Police Pile on N State Street

Yesterday I witnessed an arrest outside of my apartment. Right outside Flatstick Pub on the N State St. side of the roundabout, a younger guy was being arrested. There were about 8 police cars before an ambulance arrived. The guy was yelling and resisting in general. At one point when the police were attempting to load him into the car, he kicked his feet up on the top of the doorframe, flipping himself upside down. Eventually I believe he was strapped to a gurney and tranquilized. There was also just a random normal looking dude (not in a police uniform) that got out of one of the police vehicles and was walking around the scene. They didn't attempt to redirect traffic or anything during this entire situation, and apparently moved it to the other side of the roundabout later.

My nosy ass is just wondering what was going on because I don't usually witness stuff like this very often. I believe there was a trivia night going on at Flatstick Pub that night (Trivia Tuesdays), so I'm wondering if it was some sort of escalated situation from someone getting too wasted during the trivia night and getting kicked out. If anyone has any more details or information feel free to add them to this thread.
