Blues Jam plum experience?

Hi Everyone, I was planning on getting a damson plum tree but just stumbled across a Blues Jam "damson-type" plum tree. Does anyone have any experience with it and how it compares to a damson plum? I'll primarily use the plums for jam. Thanks!
