High Humidity from Wrong Condensation Line Configuration?
Hi - thank you in advance.
I'm experiencing high humidity (61-68%) within the house even with two AC units running for a long period of time. DS unit is a variable speed and US unit is a single speed with blower motor turned down to see if it'd help. I've had two companies come out (3 years experience guy and 8 years experience guy) and neither could figure out the reason why / confirmed the systems are cooling, clean, and configured correctly. They just resorted to buying a new system... They're cooling great but not removing humidity. I'm wondering if it's the condensation line setup as the DS unit last night had an unusually large amount of water draining out (stream of water) once the unit was shutting down when compared to the usual running (positive pressure flow coming out of the cleanout tube)? Note: there's about 1/8" water that sits in the bottom of the evaporator pan on the US unit
