April 23rd i got my work permit I figured I should get one since I had let my Daca expire in 2024. I had been a Daca recipient since 2016. I was under aged the whole time up until 2024. ( I came in 2003 I was three years old.)
Plus, you can get your real ID with your work permit if some of you didn’t know I feel as if it’s a necessity right now in these times.

I came to the United States through the border with a visa, and never renewed. ( no stamp ) my mom said none of us got a stamp we came in 2003 when they had a family plan ? First and last year they allowed it.

My interview went a little like this. It was yesterday at 11:45 we got called in at 11:20 ( lawyer present ) she was really nice. I can tell just by looking at her. I got lucky I took a folder with all of our pictures up until 2018. You can tell we were super young. We had braces and were skinny.😅😂 unfortunately, all of my worked didn’t even get looked at 🙂 ( our lawyer had uploaded pictures as evidence) so she said oh we already saw the pictures you uploaded, which is weird because I did get an email four days before my interview asking for bona fide evidence. My lawyer said it was a new thing going on and not to worry about it since they wouldn’t book an interview if there wasn’t enough evidence. I honestly was super nervous since we didn’t reply to the email at all.

I have a history of really bad anxiety and nerves. I was throwing up the whole time, but I should’ve never been that nervous. Everything went so well so smooth. I thought they would be Ice agents inside there, but it was full of security not even real cops. oh yeah and no biometrics appointment I’m guessing since I’ve been Daca for so long they already have all my information.

Also is it safe traveling with green card rn ?

Approved !!!
