Longetivity and Projection of fragrances

I have many perfumes in my collection but I seriously dont get how people rate them regarding their longetivity, projection, sillage. In fragrantica for example dior homme sport and YSL MYSLF le parfum have almost identical ratings - pretty strong - and here I am smelling the MYSLF 3 hours later, with just 2 sprays, without event trying and dior sport is gone. TBH, MYSLF le parfum is the ONLY fragrance I have between the ~15 I own that just differentiates on that front and is pretty strong and powerful. All the rest approximately barely last 1-2h MAX for me. Whats going on? Can someone explain? What am I missing? I am tired of buying new perfumes and get disappointed..
