Very first rave

Im going to the Sorry Papi girls only rave as my very first. Im excited for this new experience, but I also dont want to be awkward. Im not really sure what to expect other than music and dancing. Is "candy" still a big thing in the rave scene? I know it was more popular several years ago. Id like to experience the event on shrooms, maybe, but also being sober might be the safest bet. Any advice for a rave noob?
