Hey everyone!

Inspired by the limited edition Steam Deck (which sadly isn’t available for us here in Germany), I decided to create my own version of the look. After some planning and experimenting, I’m super happy to share my custom build with you all!

I spray-painted some GuliKit hall effect sticks, vents, and screws in RAL2002 Blood Orange, which turned out really nice. Combined with a bigger SSD, holographic buttons, and other upgrades, I’m proud of how it turned out. It took a while for all the parts to arrive, but I really enjoyed the process of building it. Now, I hope I’ll enjoy using it even more! 😄

### Gear used in this build:
- [Holographic Buttons from deckbuttons.com](https://deckbuttons.com/products/holographic-steam-deck-button-set)
- [TouchProtect Forged Carbon Fiber from deckbuttons.com](https://deckbuttons.com/products/touchprotect-forged-carbon-fiber)
- [Clear black shell from eXtremeRate](https://amzn.eu/d/5he81WG)
- [Back Button Enhancement Set from Skull&Co](https://amzn.eu/d/4vYUY4O)
- [Kickstand from Meneea](https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0BK3NT4N2)
- [Anti-glare screen protector from JSAUX](https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0BNVKK54D)
- [Hall Effect Sticks from Gulikit](https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0D2P24S9P)
- [Spraypaint RAL2002 Blood Orange](https://www.amazon.de/dp/B007TVVWN2)
- [2TB SSD from WD](https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0CN17F7XC)

### Notes on the build:
- **Spray-painting struggles:** I scratched my sticks during the first attempt at spray-painting them, so I had to buy a new set and try again. The second attempt turned out much better!
- **Trackpads:** I decided to keep the original Steam Deck trackpads. The transparent ones didn’t seem worth it since the double-sided tape makes them appear solid black anyway. Plus, with the TouchProtect, it wouldn’t make much sense.
- **Anti-glare screen protector:** Still unsure if I like it or not, but I can always remove it later if needed.
- **Grip case:** I’m skipping the grip case. I love the feel of the Deck as it is, and since I don’t plan to travel with it, I don’t need extra protection.

This project was a lot of fun, and I’m excited to hear what you all think! ☺️
