DIY replacement of old central heating pipes - good idea?

Hi all - I had my old boiler replaced earlier this week and immediately following, noticed a leak in some of the old central heating pipework. It's all exposed piping, and the section in question runs in a straight-ish line from my boiler through the kitchen into the bathroom, feeding a total of three radiators.

Given it's July and I don't expect to need central heating for the next ~3 months, would it be a completely silly idea to try to replace the piping myself? I'm thinking like-for-like copper piping, compression fittings, and replace the rads with new ones while I'm at it.

I'm not experienced in plumbing beyond running a couple basic compression tees and sink / washing machine installations, and realise high-pressure CH systems are a bit of a different beast, but I'm sort of tempted from a learning point-of-view given that this is literally the easiest / low-pressure way of learning how to do serious plumbing.

Any thoughts / experiences appreciated - thanks!
