Will I choose software engineering in china?

Hello, I am from Bangladesh! I want to study software engineering, but I am a little bit confused. I like coding, and I've also started to develop an interest in AI. While researching, I saw many people suggesting that I should focus on AI or Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). Several tech celebrities have also mentioned that software engineering may be replaced in the future. What should I do now? I really want to pursue software engineering.
