Room for growth
28M living with my wife 28F. We just moved into a house and are currently saving $1.5K a month to a taxable account. We are saving $800 in trad IRAs. We have $13K in the taxable account, $12K in IRAs, and $13K in checking that I am currently investing, slowly, probably down to $5K in the checking.
We have no credit card debt, but a mortgage of $315K, and $24K in car loans.
My taxable account is comprised of SCHD (40%), SPLV (25%), VGT (10%), FDN (8%), and the remainder (12%) in various equities and crypto.
I’m currently putting money into the various equities (think Google, P&G, Exxon, Coke) portion because I’m looking to position for a potential bull market. I am looking to shift towards a higher return potential alternative to SCHD. I’ve seen a lot of OOO and QQQ or QQQm. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thank you to whoever reads and provides feedback.
