Is honeycombing your base really worth it?

I’ve seen a YouTube video about tips for building a base and I’ve seen that it might be a good idea to honeycomb your base with triangle foundations in a way to have three walls to protect the inside Is it really worth all the materials? Or is it useless because of the the difference dinos etc I’m pretty new to Ark and I’ve just been wondering what you’re opinion might be on it
