New SSD to replace windows drive
Recently got a new AM5 MoBo, RAM, and CPU upgrade and I got a free SSD with my CPU. However, it is faster than my current C drive my windows is on as my current one is a basic one I already had.
I've seen people talk about cloning the drive and all, which is the nicer option, but I assume I place it in another slot, clone it, then can I swap it to the existing SSD slot and windows boots like nothing happened? Or do I need to do an extra step? May need this explained like I'm 5 cause this stuff always spooks me on messing it up.
