Will the majors be hiring more mechanics later this year?

Currently work at an MRO shop been there over half a year. Also in the process of testing for my O&P hoping to be licensed by September. I've heard hiring slows down during the summer. Any idea if they'll pick up closer to the holiday winter season? Aiming to get in by the end of 2025 or early 2026.
