How the hell do BH and Orbs work together?

First of all: i am very sorry cause i guess this is a very often answered question.

But i just dont get it. I searched for answers a lot of hours now and got A: many answers and B: despite a rly good explanation a not working method. At least i guess its not working.

What i learned (but could be wrong) is, that the orbs and extra orbs should hit in the center of bh. On a little further and the other ones a little more inside to the tower to cover the center.

I have 69.5m range cause of workshop upgrades. My BH is 50m

But even with the extra orb distanz to minimum the orbs just get atvthe center but not in the mid of it. And for me its like they just go around the mobs sitting in the centre.

Can anyone please break it down for me? Maybe a version for a dumb person loke me...
