Can Caffeine Help Executive Dysfunction: Update.

Questions/Advice

Hi again! This is a follow up to my previous post on here asking if caffeine can compensate for the medication I can't have for now. I appreciate everyone's inputs!

So I tried it. I took 100mgs in the morning and 100mgs in the mid afternoon. It worked wonders! Maybe there was a slight placebo effect, but I genuinely felt a little more serene, I didn't skip any songs from my playlist cause it didn't hit me with enough stimulation, I did some chores... It was great!

BUT: At night, I had so much trouble falling asleep... My mind had gotten used to being quiet all day, so when the caffeine wore off, It started getting chaotic again, and it kept me awake. I woke up early too, and couldn't go back to sleep.

How can I counter this? Cause caffeine is really helping me a great deal, and I hope I can manoeuvre my way around this bump in the road. Will I get used to it? Is there something else I can take? Is there a strategy to trick my brain into going to sleep?
