It boggles the mind that some people still think that Maomao cannot feel romantic attraction

I think it's ridiculous that there are still people who think Maomao cannot feel romantic attraction as they obviously aren't good at interpreting the story. Maomao let Jinshi feel her fingertips when he bought her out when she was a courtesan, and she was someone who never made physical contact with her customers 'cause she wasn't like the other courtesans. She also compared him to poison in Season 1, and poison is what she loves most in the world. In the final Episode of Season 2, she was about to slice off her pinky as an ode to Fengxian doing that to Maomao 'cause of her perceiving Lakan as having abandoned her when Maomao was young, thinking that Jinshi had abandoned her, so some people are just terrible at interpreting the story. She also said that the scar makes him more manly, earlier on in the episode.
