is it right for my mom to get upset over my period blood being visible?

I have 3 brothers who are 17 and the other 2 are in 25-30 age range. We all live in the same house and only share one bathroom. I always am a VERY heavy bleeder and have to go through so much toilet paper. I’ll always try to make the toilet paper face down and wrap my pads in paper, but obviously some of it will still show in the waste bin.

Everytime im on my period, my mom will constantly tell me off because she says some of the toilet paper has visible blood on it. She says im forbidden to do that and always wants me to face it down so it wont show because my brothers have to see it and i have to be decent about it. She also told me it scares my 17 year old brother having to see it.

Is it right for my mom to tell me this?? It makes me a bit upset when she brings it up, but i cant ever say anything or she will argue with me
