Pubgm in USA

Is PUBGM popular in NA? I’m looking for a competitive MOBILE game. I’ve played multiple MOBA’s ( HoK, MLBB ) and want a shooter. I played PUBGM right when it came out but they added some futuristic stuff that I’m not too much of a fan of. COD BR seems like mostly bots. Any advice?
