Homophobic co-worker?

I’m almost positive an intern at my job doesn’t like me now after realizing I’m gay.

So she sat with me last week and was very friendly and talkative. We didn’t talk about anything personal, just work related/surface level things.

The other day I was talking to a co-worker/friend about how a recent date went, and the intern was a few desks away. Nothing inappropriate or NSFW, literally just talking about the date.

Ever since this day. The intern has been so cold and rude to me. I spoke to her and asked how she was doing , she walked away quickly like she saw a ghost and just nodded her head & mumbled something. I even held the elevator open(I was the only person on) and she refused to get on the elevator with me. But I’ve seen her be her normal friendly self with everyone else in the office. She acts like she’s afraid of me.

I’ve never dealt with this before and it has me feeling slightly bummed and a little upset. First of all, I’d absolutely never make an advance towards anyone at work. And I’d absolutely never even look at her like that(no offense, but she isn’t even attractive at all).

This is so new to me, so I’m just venting.
