Tired of loving ‘too much’

When I love, I love A LOT. My current partner is wonderful but when I get hurt by his words, it is so extremely painful. And I came to the realization today that he’s just a human (what a silly sentence). What I mean is that he’s wonderful but so are many other people. I put him on this pedestal and turn him into this magical being but in reality I’m the one turning him into this magical being and he is not magical. He’s just a human like everybody else. I guess maybe I’m feeling quite apathetic tonight. I just am tired of caring as much as I do. Does anyone relate?
