hypersexuality and cheating

so my boyfriend is hypersexual. he has a dating app addiction and porn addiction. he cheated on me multiple times in multiple ways. it was never physical but always online. the first time i found out he was on a datint app, i broke up with him and he begged me and promised me to give him a chance and i did. i asked him way he cheated on me and he just kept repeating i dont know and after persuading for so long he said he was just looking for some validation. but it didn't last long he got on dating apps couple times again. he used to text instagram girls for nudes in exchange for money. i looked up his google history one day and it was filled with multiple sites of "jerking off with strangers". it's not like our sex life is bad. we have sex multiple times and week and it's not boring it's exciting.

i understand that people do this to project their insecurities but i really want to understand why he did all this to me so i can finally be at peace with myself and leave him. (if you guys are thinking that he's a total douche then he's not, he treats me very well it's just all this sex stuff just ruins everything)
