Which comes first in a likeness sculpt: secondary shape or asymmetry?
One of my friends has been helping me with a likeness sculpture that I’m working on and it got to a point where once we got the primary shapes of the face done the next step was to work on the asymmetrical parts of the face and after that work on the secondary shapes. In my mind I’m thinking wouldn’t it be better to sculpt the secondary shapes first AND THEN work on asymmetry? Wouldn’t this be easier since you’re only moving certain parts and adding small touch ups?
