I'm in the process of slowly upgrading my entire set up. Now i need help with Monitors

I am slowly in the progress of upgrading my entire setup
so far, I've upgraded:

Headset:
HyperX Cloud Alpha -> beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO X (and Behringer U-Phoria UMC22)

PC:
Intel Core i7-11700K (Octa-Core) -> AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti -> AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT
ASUS ROG Strix Z590-E Gaming [SLI] -> ASUS ROG STRIX B850-E
Corsair Vengeance 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4 -> G.Skill Trident 32GB (2x16), DDR5-6000

now it's time for the Monitor(s)
right now I'm using a Dell S2421HGF 1920x1080p monitor for my Primary monitor, and a BenQ GL2580 as a secondary monitor.
It's 2025, and I think It's time to finally move on from 144hz, even if i don't play competitive games anymore, i think i should aim for at least 200hz, no?

anyway, this brings me to my question, or asking for recommendations, more like.
I'm not entirely sure what to look for, if 1440p is good or not, and how to not put myself in generational debt for buying a Monitor that costs more money than most wall mounted flat TV's these days.
The ASUS ROG Swift PG27AQN costs 870€
for a Monitor. That is an absurd amount of money
