Social Workers of Jacksonville

Professional Development

I'm going to be moving to GA (just over the state boarder) in a few months and would like to work in Jacksonville or the northern counties. I like working with inner city kids, so Jacksonville would be the city I'm looking for jobs. I have a MSW, LSW and would like to start working towards LCSW at my new employment. Is it common to live in one state and work in another? As I'm looking at agencies to apply to, I'm seeing some require a valid FL drivers license and others just valid driver's license. I do have an address in FL I can use for my LSW/LCSW, but I'd still be living in GA. Would that limit job opportunities? I understand I'll be doing a lot of driving and am prepared for it. I currently work in foster care and adoption as a permanency specialist.
