Can you switch out of Revolut using current account switch?

I read a post a few years ago saying you can't because Revolut isn't a bank. Is this true since they've received their authorisation? I'm trying to switch to Lloyd's to get the £185 offer, but it's coming up with an error, possibly because I haven't activated my Revolut card?
