Olds school player, recommendation for newer skyblock modpacks?

I have finished enigmatica 2 expert extended, enigmatica 2 expert skyblock, grinded thru po3(quests suck), but I want to play newer versions that feel alive.

Atm9 feels very dull with 10 options of items, but only 1 really makes sense to use.

I enjoy gated progression, trying hard and feeling pride and accomplishment from wasting hours automating something for 20 hours that I could craft in 10 minutes.

Thx
