Couple of SP questions

!1. Who did Alex marry? Sasha died and I don't find any mention of him dating anyone when he graduated. I thought it was someone else in the HCP but realized no name was mentioned, other than of course his daughter Leia.!<

!2. Was there ever any mention of the number of normals who died during "Lander's Crucible"? Is the complete lack of discussion of that meant to be a hint about how supers tend to not care about normals? The only casualty I have found mentioned was Sasha.!<
