9600x vs 7500f (upgrading from am4 to am5)

Im looking to upgrade from am4 to am5 and I was wondering which of the two cpus are better than the other. The 9600x is currently on sale for $218+tax (from 318) on amazon prime day while I can get the 7500f off of aliexpress for 188 cad no tax. Also what is a compatible motherboard for these cpus? The ones i've looked at like the b650-s may have compatibility issues with certain bio versions (according to pcpartpicker). I'm new to pc building as my brother made my current build so any advice is appreciated.
