Purdue withheld my mail

I lived at Shreve during the Fall and Spring semesters, and just now, I started receiving a bunch of mail that was apparently delivered months ago but never put in my mailbox.

So far I’ve gotten:

My mail in ballot for the presidential election

My original credit card (which I thought was lost, and had to get it reissued)

My W-2 from campus work

At the time, I checked my mailbox regularly and even asked the front desk multiple times about the missing card and ballot. They said nothing had arrived. The only mail I actually received during the year was a replacement credit card sent by my bank as priority mail package, which triggers an email for pickup.

Turns out the rest of it was just sitting somewhere and got forwarded now, months later.

I’ve already emailed University Residences, but I’m really frustrated. This was supposed to be my first time voting, and that chance was completely taken away, not by missing a deadline, but because my ballot wasn’t delivered to me. I made sure to start the process almost a month and a half in advance as a first time voter just to be safe. Even before winter break I would check almost every day if my ballot arrived though it would be useless by then. It was pretty odd that it was never delivered but I didn't bother too much back then.

Anyone else have problems like this with Purdue mail? This seems like a system-level issue, not just a one-time mix-up.

If Purdue responds meaningfully, I’ll update this but I wanted to share in case others are going through something similar.
